Children's Science Center

STEM Programming & A Love of Learning for Northern Virginia’s Children

The Children’s Science Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and interactive museum where children, families and school groups can explore science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts through fun, engaging hands-on exhibits, activities and programs. It serves more than 70,000 visitors a year at the Children’s Science Center Lab at Fair Oaks Mall and through community programs delivered to schools, libraries and STEM festivals across Northern Virginia. Its mission is to inspire a love of learning STEM by providing unique opportunities to explore and create. Its vision is to create a world-class interactive science center that ignites the curiosity in all of us.

Homes for Those Without Them

HomeAid Northern Virginia connects vetted local non-profits serving those affected by homelessness with homebuilding experts who generously donate their time, resources, and expertise to create dignified, safe, and stable spaces that foster healing and growth. The organization also hosts other events and activities that supplement the work of its non-profit partners.

Stillbrave

The Mission 

​Stillbrave’s mission is to provide non-medical, supportive care to children with cancer and their families. they are committed to helping the families of children battling cancer in any way they can. So while they are fighting the toughest war of their lives, Stillbrave will fight their lesser battles, so the kids don’t have to. Stillbrave is not only here to support children with cancer, they are here to help ease the burden of the family and the caregivers who are fighting battles of their own.
