Factory-Framed Homes
Since 2017, we have refined the concept of factory-framed homes. Our manufacturing facility in Winchester, VA, serves as our innovation hub, where we have developed a range of prototypes. These include a cartridge-based solution aimed at addressing affordability challenges in Northern Virginia, advanced smart homes equipped with technology for faster maintenance diagnostics, and fully constructed townhome frameworks for our new communities. With advantages such as shorter construction times, reduced waste, and quicker delivery, factory-framed homes represent the future of our building approach.
Manufacturing and Distribution
Van Metre currently manufactures and distributes 45% of the materials needed to construct our homes. With state-of-the-art facilities and a commitment to innovation, we aim to optimize every step of the production process, ensuring that our homes, apartment, and commercial properties are built with precision and delivered on time, allowing us to respond effectively to market demands and enhance the overall customer experience. This strategy ensures cost savings for investors, supply chain control, and comprehensive service with in-house expertise.
Rent-to-Own Program
Van Metre offers apartment residents a Rent-to-Own option, making it easier for individuals and families to invest in their future. This initiative allows renters to build equity while enjoying the comfort of their Van Metre apartment. With competitive terms and a transparent process, we’re committed to helping our residents transition smoothly from renting to owning, enabling them to fully embrace the joys of homeownership. Looking ahead, we are exploring an enhanced Rent-to-Own program which would allow renters to build equity in the very homes they reside in.
